A Blog To Share My Tour of College Football

Indiana Univ.–Assembly Hall

Posted by Strickland on September 15, 2008

If you read my post about my trip to Indiana University to watch my alma mater, Western Kentucky University, play them football, you would know that I couldn’t resist to take a little tour of the Assembly Hall. Assembly Hall is the place where Indiana plays their basketball games. I don’t have much to say because I couldn’t go into the building to look at the court because it was a “closed practice.” But, I did take a few pictures, as you can see below. And, if you don’t know about Indiana Hoosiers basketball, or if you haven’t seen the movie “Hoosiers“, then you need to google Indiana basketball and find some information and blogs out there about it.

I’m sure Indiana is nice, but why not go to a real Big Ten university, say…Ohio State!

Well, this week proved to be another lack-luster week for those psuedo-greats in the SEC. No impressive wins, barely enough impressive plays to make a highlight reel. Meanwhile, in the heart of college football country, the Big Ten was proving once again why they are the premier conference in collegiate athletics. Take Ohio State for instance, they demolished a pretty good Michigan State team on their own turf. Penn State put a whoopin’ on Michigan. The stage is set for the showdown next week in Columbus. The winner should pack their bags for Miami and the National Championship game; anything less would be a crime.
